Wild Rose Kraft Cards

Hi everyone,

This evening I am posting about a few CAS (clean and simple) style cards I’ve put together using kraft card blanks and the Craft Consortium Wild Rose paper pad.

For this card I cut a simple pennant shape for the background and then punched and stamped two balloons using the Stampin’ Up Balloon Celebration set, finishing it with three gems and a twine bow.

For this one I’ve again used one of the patterns from the Wild Rose paper pad (the pastel shades work so well against kraft card) and just added a wooden heart from Things to Alter in the centre and a stamped sentiment below. I also added some pearls from Craft Consortium’s Always & Forever wedding range. They are beautiful embellishments and add a nice shabby chic touch when combined with the Wild Rose papers.

Here I’ve used the papers to die cut two butterflies (using a Cheery Lynn die) and layered them up, folding the wings of the top one forward for some dimension. I’ve stuck it to a little piece of ripped and curled paper, on top of a doily, and then I added a Craft Consortium resin flower. I absolutely love the flower embellishments too – they are such beautiful colours.

Anyway, I have a week off work next week so I am hoping to fit in some more crafting :) I very naughtily ordered myself some gorgeous new Stampin’ Up goodies so I have those to play with. I got the llama stamp set (couldn’t resist) and a really pretty wedding wishes set with matching intricate die.

I’m also looking forward to Craft Consortium’s Santoro Kori Kumi papercraft collection coming soon. Have a look at the yummy items on the way over on their site. Can’t decide what I like the most! Possibly the little apple buttons. Possibly the leaf ribbons, possibly this darling heart embossing folder! Possibly everything. Will have to seem them all in person to decide!
