This weekend I made a very exciting trip to Hobbycraft and then The Range to hunt down pretty stickers. There were SO many cool crafty things around – I know I’m not the only one who thinks Hobbycraft is like actual Heaven. I admit I bought rather more than I intended, but it will all be put to good use!
And I thought I’d better prove that last statement by making a card. So, here goes. Here’s the super cute tea party themed £9.99 Papercraft ‘goody bag’ I bought. It comes with card, paper, instructions, decoupage thingies (I don’t really understand decoupage), paper flowers, buttons, and of course the most important bit – STICKERS!
Here you can see the Tea Party glitter stickers (the bunting is so cute) with the 3D stickers behind. At the front are the Dovecraft Back to Basics swirly gemstone stickers (beautiful colours!).
This is pretty much my first attempt at making a card, and I’m not a particularly imaginative person so I made the card on the instruction sheet that came with the pack. The only problem was that I made it on a different sized card, so I couldn’t fit all the elements on it (you can see what it was supposed to look like in the top left of the second photo), but I think it turned out quite well considering the craft-disasters that I normally produce.
