StickerKitten Christmas Decorationsby Laura RumbleDecember 15, 2020 |

Hi folks! Laura here today and I’ve made a few Christmas tree decorations that double as gifts… let me take you through the design.

It all started with some little bars of Montezuma’s chocolate – a great little token gift but perhaps not the prettiest. I measured them, did a little maths and came up with a net for a box that I could cut on my Silhouette Cameo. (The idea can be adapted for any small bars/sweets but here’s a link to my file if you happen to have some Montezuma’s chocolate to gift!  )

I chose to cut my nets on a couple of papers from the Sweet Pastels range and some kraft from Bird Garden. I scored, folded and then used super sticky double-sided tape to secure the side and bottom. I added the chocolate before adding a loop of ribbon or twine at the top, ensuring the chocolate isn’t eaten too early!! (Who am I kidding?!)

I rifled through the Gingerbread Ephemera and ummed and aahed for longer than I’m willing to admit. Practically any combination would work – it’s a fab mix of icons and phrases. I choose gingerbread people and cute sayings to match the pastels and Christmas trees to go with the kraft. I love the way the colours of the tree and light strings pop off the kraft base.

So, there you have it – simple StickerKitten Christmas tree decorations!
