Heritage Press collection – male cards

Hi everyone, today I am writing about the Papermania Heritage Press collection from docrafts. It’s great for male cards (which I think are always hard to make) and has lots of cute little decoupage suits and sentiments.

Here’s an 8×8 card that I made for my husband’s birthday.

I embossed the brown panel using the new xcut tartan embossing folder.

And used a mix of die cut stars and Heritage Press sentiments.

I also made use of the paper left over from die cutting the stars for this cute birthday card.

And two spare stars went on this card. I try to do my die cutting in batches and use up all the pieces when I have the coordinating ranges to hand!

I also made good use of the xcut circle punch for these cards. Sometimes it can be difficult to find embellishments for male cards when you don’t want flowers or butterflies!

Ah yes, at the start of my post I mentioned the suit decoupage – here they are!

I had fun building up the layers, and they look more impressive in person than in the picture. Good for Father’s Day cards and birthdays!

Finally, here’s one using the ‘top chap’ decoupage sentiment.

I also mixed in some paper from the Midnight Blush range for the background. And I love the little pipe at the front!
